Asparagus festivals - Friday

This year they are here again, the Asparagus Festival of Kinrooi! Three days of festivities for young and old and something for everyone! Host Johan Driessens and hostess Linda make their company available for a weekend for 3 days of ambiance, atmosphere and fun.

Friday evening will kick off with a Walking Dinner! Here you can enjoy small and refined dishes. These appetisers with asparagus are a treat for the taste buds. This evening, our new Asparagus Queen 2025-2026 will also be announced.

And as if the evening is not already fascinating, delicious and crazy, you will get another dazzling live act by Funky "D". This is no ordinary everyday cover band. Funky "D" is an interactive live act with the audience at its centre. As a finale, Funky "D’'s all-round DJ ensures a successful after-party after the performance.

Programme:
7 p.m.: Reception with aperitif in the marquee at Johan Driessens' asparagus farm in Molenbeersel. Take a seat at a standing and/or sitting table and indulge in some 6 deliciously refined asparagus dishes. These appetisers, complemented by table sandwiches, will be reserved at the table so that you can continue your pleasant, undisturbed chat.

   * Breydel ham with truffle marinated asparagus
   * Smoked salmon tartar/sour cream/asparagus
   * Asparagus cream soup
   * Sole rolls/asparagus puree/mousseline
   * Pork tenderloin/mushroom/grilled asparagus/gratin
   * Panna cotta of asparagus with orange
    Includes 4 drinks of your choice!

9 p.m.: Announcement Asparagus Queen 2025!
10 p.m.: Live performance Funky "D".
