Start to Sail

Learn to sail on the beautiful Maasplassen in Kinrooi Do you live in one of the Neighbourhood Sport municipalities (Kinrooi, Maaseik, Bree, Bocholt, Peer or Oudsbergen)? Then you can come and enjoy the beautiful Maasplassen in the municipality of Kinrooi sportily and/or recreationally through the "Start to Sail" project. Sail on the Maasplassen and enjoy nature, tranquillity and space. Learn new skills, make friends and have a summer to remember.

"Start to Sail" is organised by the Neighbourhood Sports Services and Sailcenter Limburg. Young and old are welcome to take lessons. You will be taught the basics of sailing in a keelboat type Falcon. The total lesson duration is 15 lessons.

Important information Start to Sail:
- Five lessons of 3 hours each, total of 15 lessons.
- Running time; end of March to end of October, start dates see www.sailcenterlimburg.com.
- Price: €300 p.p. with 2 people, €200 p.p. with 3 people, €150 p.p. with 4 people
- If you are already with a group, you can give Sailcenter Limburg 5 preferred dates.
- Included: lesson boat, life jacket, instructor
- After obtaining a "Basic" sailing certificate, you can continue practising the skills learned independently in 3 sailboats provided until 31 October.
