Wind Band Festival

Great Wind Band Festival during the last weekend of April.

A special Czech music evening is scheduled for Saturday, 26 April. Wind band GLORIA will perform its musical skills in Kessenich for the 14th time. This chapel promises to provide an unforgettable programme again this year.

On Sunday 27 April, the party will continue with the well-known Früh- und Spätschoppen, starting at 11.30 a.m.
This cosy Sunday is all about enjoyment: from a delicious glass of wine, a refreshing regional beer or a tasty hot meal, while different styles of music resound through the festival hall. Entry for this fantastic day is free.

One of the biggest and most well-known in the region, this festival guarantees a perfect mix of conviviality and quality. Every year there are around 1,200 visitors who come together to soak up the atmosphere. The sports hall on Meierstraat has been converted into an atmospheric concert hall. With a large stage and an impressive set covering an entire wall, it promises to be a unique experience. A particularly proud element is the metre-wide painting ‘Kessenich in the mountains’, which will occupy a prominent place.
