On the border of Belgian Limburg, Dutch Limburg and Dutch North Brabant lies Border Park KempenBroek: a 25,000-hectare nature reserve that alternates wet with dry, open with closed, nature with culture. KempenBroek surprises with a special and varied landscape.

The woods, marshes, stream valleys and hay meadows are home to many rare plant and animal species.

Via signposted routes, you will get to know "KempenBroek" in all its facets and not miss anything.

Stramprooierbroek

This hiking area leads you through the heart of KempenBroek. Thanks to its abundance of water, the Stramprooierbroek has become the richest dragonfly habitat in the Benelux. Reason enough to put on your boots and discover the treasures of this area. Prick up your ears and listen to the silence.

Stramprooierbroek is one of the three areas of silence in Belgian Limburg.

The Zig & Goort

This extremely attractive walking area with woods, meadows, fields and bogs has no less than 17 hectares of ponds with reed banks and marsh zones. From the bird-watching cabin, you can spy the rare water rail, bluethroat or grasshopper warbler.

Discover the silence, become a real tracker, get a taste of the wilderness or catch your breath in the nature of the Border Park... You can now experience it even more intensely in the company of a Ranger.

The GrensPark has two entrance gates and five reception points where all activities start. In Kinrooi, you start at the Woutershof in Molenbeersel (Grootbroekstraat 46, 3640 Kinrooi).
