Kinrooi, an absolute fishing paradise
Kinrooi has two municipal ponds where you can fish free of charge and without a fishing licence: in fishpond De Goort in Kinrooi and at Villa Pax in Molenbeersel. in Molenbeersel. Here you have to return the fish to the pond when caught.
The Maas, part of the banks of the Vissenakkerplas and the Kinrooi streams are public fishing waters. Along part of the lakes you can fish beautifully and at De Steenberg we have some great fishing spots in store for you. You must have a fishing licence from the Flemish Region. This is available from any post office or digitally via the website of the Agency for Nature and Forests.
