The Docterhoes

The stately mansion of the late Dr Nyssens with the coach-house and park behind it have been converted into a luxurious, attractive B&B "Het Doctershoes" with 9 rooms.

Both able-bodied and less able-bodied guests can enjoy a stomach-strengthening breakfast, lunch or dinner, an eye-catching sun terrace, a bracing splash in our heated swimming pool and a lung-filling walk in our park with unique clad trees.

The Maasplassen, located within walking distance, offer a very wide range of sports and water recreation.

You can also explore the surrounding area from our bicycle café, with the most beautiful pearls being "The white town of Thorn and the medieval market of Maaseik".
